Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 Firewall Enable File and Printer Sharing?
I am using Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 on my 2 desktop and 1 laptop. The two desktop pcs are connected via ethernet cable to BSNL DNA-A211-I ADSL Type II modem. and the laptop is connected via WiFi. My question is, “What setting should I do in Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 to enable Printer and File Sharing?”
The problem is solved after selecting Local network. Thanks for help
For print and file sharing there are the ports you need to enable
TCP 139. TCP 445, UDP 137, and UDP 138.
But let Kaspersky auto handle it.
Just allow any network activity for Local Area Network on Kaspersky Firewall.
If not you will need to configure these ports.
