Ipod Nano 4th Gen, Had a little trouble, fixed, with one prob, ideas?

Ok, so, my sister washed AND dried her ipod Nano, Pink, 4th Gen. After an hour or so, I have the stupid thing working again, it plays music and all that fun stuff, with one problem, the screen is completely black, I can’t get it to work at all. Any ideas on how to fix this? I was pretty impressed with myself so far, but am stuck here.
Help is greatly appreciated.
Eh, I kind of figured the screen was ruined, but I can always hope! Anyone know how to set up the spoken menus, since I am having some trouble with that, that would be greatly appreciated.

I hate to say it, but the screen might have been ruined by the water from the washer and the heat of the dryer. I’m actually incredibly impressed you got it playing music again. Luckily, the screens on the 4G nanos are better than some of the previous generations, but I’m thinking you might have run out of luck on this one.

Personally, I would go into an apple store and talk to one of the experts there. I wouldn’t go into detail with your story right away though, they could technically tell you that there’s nothing that can be done since the damage was preventable. Just ask them about possible repairs on the Nano screens.
