I am about to buy an HP netbook, and I was wondering if it was necessary to buy antivirus software?
I dont think I have any antivirus or firewall software installed now on my main comp and its running just fine…but the associate at bestbuy told me I should buy the antivirus package… Do i REALLY need it or is he just trying to boost his commission??….
AS far as I know all new computers go with firewall and antivirus programs installed.Regularly antivirus software has 60 days trial period,after trial you have to pay to keep it working,
If antivirus is not preinstalled you got to get one.
