What http address do I put in the incoming mail server spot in my Internet Connection Wizard setup?
I’m setting up mu Outlook to receive my e-mails & in the wizard it asks for the Incoming Mail Servers address I need to know what that is so my Outlook will show my e-mails when setting up a new identity.
Depending on who your email provider is, the information will be different. Your email provider should have a email setup page on their site with the information. It will be something like pop.mail.emailprovider.com. It does not use an http address.
Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: pop.mail.yahoo.com
(Port 110)
Outgoing (SMTP) Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
(Port 25)
Though, if you are using yahoo & don’t have the pay service you cannot use the pop3 protocol and download to outlook the free service does not support that.
